About this Project
In 2009, Dave and I pooled our collections of cassette tape recordings of Freelance gigs from the 1980s (almost 30 tapes!). I combed through and converted the recordings to digital and remastered each recording to get as much fidelity as possible from the old tapes. Many tapes had deteriorated and/or contained lots of hiss, hum, buzz, and variations in speed. Nonetheless, I've used the best hardware and software tools available to produce something that I hope you'll enjoy. Members of the band are invited to download any of these recordings for personal use. If you want groups of recordings, contact me.
